Spring Season: March 2 - May 17, 2026

Mandatory Season Kickoff Meeting for Junior and Middle School Families: March 14, 2026 2 - 4 PM at the Westerville Public Library, Room A

Swim Test:  Dates TBA
All Middle School and Junior athletes are required to pass a swim test during their first ON WATER season.  Testing will take place at the Westerville Community Center.

Practice Schedule (Juniors)

Monday - Friday 4:15 to 6:30 PM, arrival at 4 PM

Saturday 8 AM to 10 AM

In early Spring, practices will be on the water when possible. Watch Remind for communication about practice location due to inclement weather. 

Practice Schedule (Middle School)

M/W/Th, drop off 4:00 PM and pick up 6:15-25 PM

Practice Schedule (Masters)

Practices will be in the erg room until after the time change, and then on the water when weather permits. Pay attention to the GroupMe for changes to practice location.

Erg room practice times:

M/T/Th 7-8 PM

Saturday 7-8 AM

On the water practice times: 

M/T/Th 6-8 PM, arrival 5:45-6 PM 

Saturday 7-9 AM

US ROWING NUMBER

A US Rowing number is required for all registrations. If you don't know your athlete's number, log in to the US Rowing membership portal and find the number in their profile.

If your athlete is new to rowing, follow the link to the membership portal and purchase a membership before completing this registration. Choose the Basic membership level. You will need our club code:  B7BQF

Regattas*

• April 11, 2026: Cincinnati Invitational; Bethel OH (Juniors)
• April 24-26, 2026: Dogwood; Oak Ridge, TN (select Juniors Only)
• May 3, 2026 (SUNDAY): Indianapolis Junior Springs; Indianapolis, IN (Juniors and Middle School)
• May 16-17, 2026: Midwest Junior Championships; Bethel, OH (Juniors)--This event results in qualification for nationals in June. 
• June 11-14, 2026: US Rowing Youth Nationals; Sarasota, FL (qualifying Juniors boats only)

* Spring season for Masters will likely include a scrimmage. Date and details TBD. 

Dues for Spring Season

Dues for each segment are carefully determined based on scheduled regattas, the equipment used by the segment, the number of coached practice days per week, and coach-to-athlete ratios. 

• Junior: $1250*
• Middle School: $450
• Masters: $295

* This season's dues include the select regatta fees for Dogwood. Any athlete is who is not invited to participate in Dogwood will receive a credit towards the next season.  Note that this credit applies only to athletes not invited to attend, it does not apply to athletes who are invited but are unable or choose not to attend.

You have two options for payment method:

• Credit card. Payment is made in SportsEngine at the end of the registration process. Credit card payments can be made in full today or split into three installments. If you split payment, the second and third installments will charge automatically on March 28, 2026 and April 28, 2026. You will not be charged a credit card processing fee. 
• Zelle.  Select Pay Offline on the Payments page. Submit Zelle payment to treasurer@westervillecrew.org and note "Spring Season for [Athlete Name]". Payment is expected at time of registration.  If you wish to make offline installments, please make first payment of 33% of the total via Zelle AND email treasurer@westervillecrew.org to set up a payment plan. 

All athletes must be registered by March 2, 2026 to participate in Spring season.
